The college’s athletic department is one of the finest in the state. This success can be attributed to many factors, great faculty, coaches, academic counseling, and our student-athletes. We understand that academics come first and should be the most important part in any student’s life at Chaffey. That is why more than five years ago the athletic program included an athletic counselor to the staff.

Jeff Moser and other staff members work with student athletes to provide guidance and support as they progress through their academic careers. 

Learning specialists and tutors lend strong support by working with our athletes on their learning styles and strategies, as well as other learning programs. More than 85% of our athletes are recruited from the district that our college serves. Through the hard work and dedication of our coaches, staff, and counselor, these athletes are demonstrating academic success. Last year, numerous athletes transferred to a college or university, many of which received scholarships.
