The men continue on their winning streak, defeating Southwestern 4-3 today at home. Ryan Buckley started on the mound for the Panthers facing 22 batters in the first five innings. It was his 2nd win this season. Freshman closer Bryan Delgado earned his third season save, relieving Sergio Ramirez in the 9th and facing off against the final 3 batters of the game. With eight singles (of nine hits), the Chaffey men were hitting for consistency with JC Garza leading the pack with 3 hits, 2 runs, and 1 RBI in three appearances at the plate. The men travel to Santa Ana Saturday.
