Bio

Coach Lamour enters his 4th season on the Chaffey College coaching staff 2nd year as the Cornerbacks and Special Teams Assistant.

Coach Lamour will be in charge of the Defensive Backs group, and various positions on Special Teams.

During his playing career, Coach Lamour played his prep football at Immokalee High in Immokalee, Florida where he played Defensive back and Wide Receiver. Coach Lamour was part of a State championship and 2 runner-ups. Coach Lamour is a former Chaffey College panther where he played in 2009 with a team record of 6-4. Coach Lamour then transferred to Abilene Christian University, where he led the 2010 undefeated wildcats in interceptions & a Lone Star Conference championship.

In his first season at Chaffey College as the Corners Coach, the defense broke records and led the state in various categories. The Panthers D placed first out of 62 teams in the state in rush yards allowed per Game (53.5) and Defensive TDs (8). They were also top-3 in total yards per game allowed (248.4) and points per game (13.9). Also Highlighting the Panthers season was handing Mt. Sac their first 0 point performance verse any opponent in more than 15 years and Having 3 total Shut out victories. Last season saw several defensive players sign to 4-year colleges including Defensive Backs: Aaron Lewis  CB (UNLV), Daryl Aggers S/LB (Lyon College), Dorrian Fedrick S/CB (Sioux Falls), Marquise Green CB (Fort Hayes), Robert Maxwell S (Montana State University-Northern), and Carlos Tobar S (La Verne).

This is coach Lamour’s second stop as a coach, he was a Student assistant coach with Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant Oklahoma 2013.

Coach Lamour Resides in Fontana, California, Coach Lamour earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Health & Physical Education.
