November 19, 2016 The #4 ranked Hustlin' Chaffey Panthers extended their home court winning streak to 12 consecutive games with a hard fought 79 -75 win over the #1 ranked Saddleback Gauchos.

The Panthers led 36-35 at halftime. Robert White led the Panthers with 8 points in the first half. His back to back 3 pointers helped keep the games close. The 2nd half saw multiple lead changes. Brian Beard led the Panthers with 18 of his 20 points coming in the 2nd half including 15 of 17 free throws. Brian also had 3 steals and 5 assists. Cedrequs Wright scored 12 points and was 4/4 from the free throw line and had 4 rebounds. The Panthers relentless defense along with timely scoring helped preserve the victory. Chaffey outrebounded Saddleback 34-30.
For the Saddleback Gauchos Jake Hawes scored 18 points, Breon Brady had 18 points and 12 rebounds, and T.J. Shorts had 9 points and 5 assists.
