The Lady Panthers played their second on the road this week, shutting out Victor Valley 3-0. Kylie Bock set the pace for the game scoring the first point for Chaffey unassisted four minutes into the game. Neah Hayles added another in the first half to take the Panthers into the halftime break up by two. Madison Orchard gave the Panthers another goal in the 2nd half (unassisted) to close out the game 3-0. Savannah Ornelas held the Rams scoreless with six saves.
"Playing away from home, we were happy to get on the scoreboard early. This allowed us to relax and play our game," stated Head Coach Cooper.
The Panthers take a break this Friday and resume play Tuesday at home vs San Bernardino Valley. This game will likely determine the confernce champion. The last time the two teams faced off, SBVC emerged victorious 2-0 putting the Wolverines one game ahead of Chaffey in the race for IEAC supremacy.
