The Chaffey College women's soccer team defeated Santa Barbara City College 2-1 on Tuesday night to continue their playoff run. Gonna Diez scored the equalizer for the Panthers in the 68th minute, and Evelyn Madrigal netted the game-winner just five minutes later, assisted by Monet Dedeaux.
The Panthers continued their playoff push with a convincing 2-0 win over MiraCosta College in the second round of the 3C2A playoffs. Despite chilly, damp conditions, the Panthers' offense proved too much for the Spartans.
The Chaffey College women's soccer team, seeded #5, will host the #12 MiraCosta College Spartans in the second round of the 3C2A Women's SoCal Regional playoffs. The match is scheduled for this Saturday, November 23rd, at 1:30 p.m.
