Bio

Tishanna Pope-Finley is entering her 1st season as the assistant coach for the Chaffey College women’s volleyball program. Prior to Chaffey, she coached for her alma mater, Alta Loma High School. She was the assistant coach for the Braves from 2003-2006, then took over as head coach of the girls’ volleyball program from 2007-2014. In her final season with Alta Loma, she led her team to a CIF Southern Section Championship and a CIF State Regional Championship. She received Coach of the Year honors from CIF, the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, and the California Coaches' Association. 

In addition to high school, she has coached numerous camps and has been heavily involved in club volleyball over the years. She has coached several high school & club athletes that have moved on to play at various collegiate levels. She is currently coaching at Pacific Juniors Volleyball Club, where she has coached 14s, 15s, 16s, 17s and 18s.  She is currently the 17-1’s coach. She has previously coached 12s and 16s for Rancho Valley Volleyball Club and 16s, 17s, and 18s for Club West Volleyball Club.
Pope-Finley played collegiate volleyball for Azusa Pacific University where she received NAIA All-American Honors.  Tishanna holds a BS in math and an MA in Education, from APU, along with a MA in math from Cal State Fullerton.  

Tishanna is married to Dubin Finley and they have a daughter, Naomi. She teaches math at Alta Loma High.
