PANTHER WOMEN HAVE CLOSE LOSS AT ELAC
The ladies continued conference play yesterday, falling to East LA 9-8. Scoring consistently throughout the match, the Chaffey squad put up 3-2-1-2 battle to the final horn. Leading the charge for the Panthers was freshman driver Vanessa Murray with three of the Panthers' eight goals.
"We played another tough, close game that's decision came down to the last couple of seconds," commented Head Coach Kocsis. "Even though we were not the ones to score the last goal, it is definitely a positive that we were able to tie the game from a 3 goal deficit."
"I have to highlight the performance of our goalie, Aria Massey who made some standout blocks and finished the game with 14 saves."
The ladies continue conference play next Wednesday at Cerritos.
