The women opened the 2023 water polo season at Crafton Hills College yesterday, falling 16-15 to the Roadrunners.
Panther offense was lead by Elisabeth Ramirez with 7 goals. Ramirez also spent time at the net with two saves.
The teams were head-to-head for the entire game ending each quarter within 1 point and tied 12-12 after three. Ultimately, four successive goals by Crafton gave the Roadrunners the edge in the 1-point battle.
The team travels to LA Valley Saturday to take on El Camino and Pasadena City.
