Bio

Brashit Tarmani joined Chaffey College as an Athletic Trainer in summer 2019. Brashit was raised in Central California where he attended California State University, Stanislaus and received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health and Wellness Promotion. He then moved to Southern California to attend California Baptist University where he received his Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2017. During his time at CBU he researched the effectiveness of the Mulligan Mobilization with Movement concept in treating shoulder impingement. Brashit joined the Los Angeles Chargers sports medicine staff in summer of 2017 as a summer training camp intern and spent the 2018/2019 season with the LA Chargers as a seasonal athletic trainer.

Brashit is certified as an athletic trainer through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification. He is certified in Rocktape FMT and Tecnica Gavilan IASTM. Some of his areas of professional interest are blood flow restriction training, active release technique, cupping therapy and the Mulligan technique. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hiking and going to the beach. He lives in Ontario with his wife and newborn son.
