Bio

A product of the California community college system with a master’s degree in Education, Coach Crowell has been an assistant cross country coach for the past twelve years, including Claremont High School where she teaches, and for the last three years at Chaffey College. While coaching at Claremont High School, her teams made many appearances at CIF finals and the state championships- and most recently in 2016 both the girl’s and boy’s teams won the California State Championship for CIF Division II.  While coaching at Chaffey College, she has helped guide the women’s team to the CCCAA State Championships two out of three years, with an individual qualifying for the State Championships in the year the team did not. On the men’s side, Coach Crowell has helped guide the team or individuals from the team to the State Championships two out of three years.

Coach Crowell is an avid runner, still logging consistently over 55 miles per week and competing in half-marathons and marathons. She is married with two young daughters, is a published writer, and enjoys camping, rock-climbing, and playing beach volleyball.
