Bio

Coach ‘Razz’ joins the Chaffey College staff directly after finishing her career at Sacramento State University.  At Sac State, Sydney was a 4-year starter at both shortstop and third base and was named All-Conference three times in her career.  Razz also was selected as the Conference Newcomer of the Year during her freshman season.

She helped lead her team to the Conference Championship in 2018 and on to the NCAA Regionals at UCLA.  In 2019 she was named to the All-Tournament team.

Prior to Sac State, Sydney was a four-year starter at Serrano High School and three times was named first-team All-League as well as being named the Player of the Year in 2015 by the Victorville Daily Press.  During high school she played on numerous travel teams such as Cal Lite, Desert Blaze and Team Smith.

Sydney graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology and plans to pursue her master’s degree in physical education, eventually becoming a Division 1 softball coach.  She has two siblings: Shelby and Slyder; and has two cats: Jojo and Nala.
