Bio

David Padilla is a community college alumni having attended College of the Canyons where he was a member of the Cougars' football team.  He earned his associates degree in kinesiology before heading to New Mexico Highlands University for two seasons.  At New Mexico Highlands he earned his bachelors degree in exercise science.

Padilla started his strength & conditioning career as an intern at Canyons and then went on to be a graduate assistant at Tarleton State University (TX). At Tarleton David earned his Masters of Education in Kinesiology. Coach Padilla returned to California where he took an assistant position with the College of the Canyons working directly with all sports under the direction of head strength coach Robert Dos Remedios. He then moved to South Florida and spent time at Oxbridge Academy as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach. 

After his time at Oxbridge Academy, David then took the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Keiser University in West Palm Beach, FL. There David was a part of the coaching staff that started Keiser’s nationally ranked football program. With great success from the football team, Padilla became the head strength and conditioning coach of all athletics and was a part of 16 national championships and 51 conference championships.

David is now the Coordinator of Sports Performance and Fitness Center.
