Panther Soccer hosted Antelope Valley this afternoon in their second of a four game homestand. Both teams came out strong playing an extremely aggressive offense. All three game goals were scored in the first half of play. Freshman midfielder Auner Castillo Gonzalez shot the Panthers' sole goal in, assisted by Kiarash Eftekhari. Sophomore goalie Daniel Navarro had three saves.
Head Coach Ben Cooper: Overall, we did not play very well yesterday against a good Antelope Valley team. We had chances to score but just failed to capitalize on several AVC defensive mistakes. We have a lot of learning to do before Friday's Citrus game.
The Panthers return to their home field Friday to take on Citrus College at 4pm. Livestream available at facebook.com/chaffeypanthers.
