IEAC fans got a preview last weekend at the Glendale Tournament when the Panthers were matched up with San Bernardino Valley, defeating the Wolverines 52-49. On day one of the tourney, the Panthers fell to host Glendale 83-68 to split the to day series.
Against SBVC, the Panthers were led by Elyanna Rios with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Brianna Medrano added 13 to the board; Jaylyn Edmonds 11. Center Brilonnie Bell returned to the court after a 2 1/2 week hiatus to get 7 rebounds, four steals, and a block.
The Panthers take on LA Southwest at home Wednesday.
