Women's Basketball was on the road last night, falling to the Mt San Jacinto Eagles 77-41. The Panthers kept up the fight until the end, scoring consistently in both halves of play.
Sophomore Niya Mani returned to the court for the first time since November 20th. Mani scored six with two 3-point shots and had five rebounds. All six participating student-athletes scored against the Eagles. Brianna Medrano had 10 points, 7 rebounds and three steals. Brilonne Bell had 8 points and 10 rebounds. Bell leads the conference with nearly 12 rebounds/game.
The Panthers play their next two on the road: tomorrow at LA Pierce (non-conference) and Saturday at Victor Valley. The team will play their final home game of the season Tuesday, February 22nd against Barstow at 7pm. Five sophomores will be honored prior to the game.
