Head Coach Rob Lander:
In the end, our women's team was hit hard by the respiratory infection going around and placed 18th in the State of California. Regardless, I'm extremely proud of this group, especially in the way they came together, becoming a sum greater than their parts. They won the Conference Championship, qualified for the State Championships, and formed some lasting friendships.
Brianna King ran a BRILLIANT race at the State Championships, saving her best race for last! She ran an incredibly disciplined race, moving from 37th at the mile, 16th at 2 miles, and finished 8th, capturing ALL-AMERICAN honors for the 2nd time!
