PANTHER CROSS COUNTRY TAKES ON IEAC WITH 2ND PLACE FINISH FOR MEN AND WOMEN

The Panthers participated in the annual IEAC Championship Friday, coming in 2nd place for both the men's and women's squads.
The defending champion women's team was led by Andrea Baerenwald who finihsed the course ni 4thplace. Betania Madero-Meza finished 7th. Both earned 1st team All-Conference honors. In all six Chaffey women earned a place on the post-season honor team. With all Chaffey runners finishing in the top 15, the team also qualified for the Southern California Championships for the 8th consecutive year.
The Chaffey men also finished 2nd and qualified for the regional championships. Joseph Chavarria and David Ponce De Leon earned All-Conference honors for their top 8 finishes.
