A Fontana High School graduate, Chuck Deagle’s career at Chaffey College began in 1961 as a centerfielder on the Panther’s baseball team.  Playing under Coach Paul Smith, Deagle made all Mission Conference his freshman year before leaving Chaffey to pursue his education at Chico State University.  At Chico, Chuck earned his bachelors, teaching credential and maters degrees.

After years of coaching and teaching, Chuck returned to Chaffey in 1996 to coach Panther baseball.  Under his 8 year direction, the Panthers won three conference championships and finished 2nd twice.  Four times Chuck was named conference coach of the year and the team competed in state playoffs all four times.

These days, Chuck and his wife spend their days traveling the world and visiting with their children who live in Northern California, Massachusetts and Georgia.
