The men hosted El Camino - Compton yesterday and after leading the entire game, defeated the Tartars 22-6. Sophomore catcher Logan Gopperton got in 4 hits including a 7th inning homer, his first this season. Aaron McCann hit 4 off Compton with 3 runs and 3 RBIs. A 5th inning 10 run rally by the Panthers that took the score from 6-5 to 16-5, clinched the game for Chaffey.
Johnanthan Longtin earned his third win for the season.
The men travel to Compton Saturday for game two of the series.
