The Panthers swept the series against El Camino Compton, defeating the Tartars 5-3 Saturday. Matt Vigil started the team out on the mound, pitching the first 6.1 and facing 26 batters. Vigil was relieved by McClure and Taylor Sims who earned the save for the final inning of the game.
Johnathan Longtin and Jake Nichols lead the offense with 2 hits and 1 run each. Oscar Martinez, Aaron McCann, and Justin Wells each earned RBIs.
The men return to Lowder Field Tuesday to take on the El Camino College Warriors.
