The Panthers took game 1 against LA Harbor Saturday, defeating the Seahawks 9-1.
Harbor scored in the 1st with Chaffey answering back in the bottom of the inning when Gopperton singled to drive in Oscar Martinez who had reach on a hit by pitch. In the 2nd, Chaffey scored six runs beginning with a two RBI double by Patrick Keller. Keller went on to score when Martinez singled. Jordan Hernandez, Martinez, aand Joel Osuna also scored. The fifth inning brought 2 more runs with Keller and Martinez each crossing home.
The men travel to Harbor tomorrow for game 2 of the series and will play at home Thursday against Cerritos.
