The Panthers opened the 2018 season at home Friday, defeating the Ventura Pirates 12-6 before being cut short due to darkness. The game went eight innings. Sophomore outfielder Ellis Stevens was on fire hitting a single, double, and triple with three RBIs. Freshman Travis Nelson, in his collegiate debut, earned the win for the Panthers.
The men travel to Santa Ana tomorrow.
