PANTHERS DROP TWO IN SAN DIEGO

The men had back-to-back game days in the south, playing Friday at Southwestern and Saturday at Grossmont. Against the Jags, the Panthers came up short despite taking an early 3-0 lead. Seamus Fallon led the Panthers with 2 runs and 2 hits. Saturday again Chaffey held a 2nd inning 3-0 lead but the Griffins answered back to tie it in the 3rd. Freshman Gino Manzani hit his first collegiate homerun (2RBIs).
The men host Cerro Coso tomorrow in the first of three home games this week.
