Glendale

Despite scoring three homeruns Tuesday, the Panthers were unable to get ahead of the Glendale Vaqueros, falling 15-11.
Glendale took an early lead, ending the 2nd inning up 6-0. The Panthers got on the board in the third with a Colby Sims fielder's choice that brought in Sergio Ramirez. In the 4th, Daniel Mendez hit the first of Chaffey's three homeruns bringing in Jairemy Pulido who reached on a walk. With two outs and two runners on base, Jared Bujanda singled scoring Ramirez. Jeovanni Delgado was called out on his attempt to score, ending the inning for the Panthers.
The fifth inning was a series of lucky breaks for Chaffey with two bases loaded walks and a score on wild pitch (Jason DuMont) put the game within reach at 10-7. Glendale scored another three in the bottom of the inning.
Bradley Chesterton scored a 2 RBI homer in the 6th and Colby Sims repeated that in the 7th to take the score to 15-11. The Panthers were unable to close the gap in the final two innings of play.
Matthew Flores started on the mound for Chaffey. He was relieved by Tyler Tilton, Zuko Tillman, and Sergio Flores.
The men are at Southwestern this afternoon then host Long Beach tomorrow at 2pm.
