The men were on the road today, traveling to Chula Vista and defeating the Southwestern Jaguars 2-1. Chaffey took a 4th inning 1-0 lead off a Jairemy Pulido single that brought in Alex Cummings. In the 6th, Jeovanni Delgado singled to bring Sergio Ramirez across the plate. The Jags remained scoreless into the 7th, managing only one run in 9 innings.
Elias Jauregui got his 2nd season win going 7 innings and giving up 3 hits. Johan Castillo and Matthew Flores followed on the mound. Eddie Pietschmann got the save closing out the final inning against the Jaguars.
The men host Long Beach tomorrow.
