Team Stats

Chaffey pitching standout Elias Jauregui opened another winning game for the Panthers pitching the first five against Barstow for the 13-8 win, his 5th of the season. Juaragui, who currently leads the nation in strikeouts, added five to his season total, surpassing last season's tally of 52.
Completing the game on the mound was a succession of Bryce Powell, Jared Billen, Severiano Urias, and Matthew Flores.
Panther offense came on strong to start, posting four runs in the first inning and five in the second. By the sixth inning, Chaffey was ahead 13-2. Jairemy Pulido led the Panthers with four runs (including a bases loaded homer in the 2nd), three hits, and four RBIs. Bradley Chesterton also brought in four runners for the Panthers off three singles.
With the highest overall winning percentage in the IEAC, the Panthers continue to hold strong in conference at 3-1. Next up for Chaffey is a home game vs Victor Valley Saturday at 1pm.
