DARREN TAYLOR COMMITS TO DIVISION I SOUTHERN ILLINOIS

Congratulations to Panther first baseman (2019 & 2020) Darren Taylor on his recent commitment to NCAA Division I Southern Illinois University.  Taylor will join Saluki Baseball, attending the college on a full athletic scholarship.

"With Darren's commitment we now have 20 student-athletes continuing their education from the 2020 class. Seven of those transfers are to Division I schools! It has been a challenge, but we managed to move on 100% of our sophomores from the 2020 class despite a global pandemic, and two canceled seasons," reported Head Coach Mike Cordero.

Taylor is graduate of Alta Loma High School.
