Three runs in the 2nd inning yesterday against Long Beach gave the Panthers their first win of the season, 4-3 v the Vikings. Sophomore returner Bradley Chesterton led the Panthers with 1 run and 3 hits. Matthew Chavez, Cole Howarth, and Marty Grisso also crossed home for Chaffey. Chavez scored the eventual game winning run in the 3rd off a Troy Holland sac fly to left field.
The Panthers are at Riverside today.
