HOFMEYER NAMED RAWLINGS ALL-AMERICAN
Congratulations to two-year sophomore pitcher Braden Hofmeyer for being named a 2023 Rawlings All-American.
Hofmeyer, who recently committed to Wofford College (SC), was also selected as the IEAC MVP and earned Golden Glove honors.
Head Coach Andy Smith commented, "This is a great honor for a special young man! What Braden accomplished this year is a true testament to not only outstanding ability, but elite work-ethic, character, and maturity. Every time he took the mound our guys knew we'd have a great chance to win. But beyond that, he had an immeasurable impact on the fabric and culture of this program, setting an elite standard of excellence daily. We have been blessed to have B Hof with us, and look forward to his continued success at the D1 level next year and beyond!
He continued, "Assistant coaches Casey Moses and Zac Tapia deserve recognition as well for the outstanding job they did preparing Braden and our pitching staff as a whole this year!"
The honor is bestowed by the American Baseball Coaches Association and Rawlings Sporting Goods and represents the best baseball student-athletes at the college and high school levels.
