PANTHERS EDGE OUT VALLEY TO CLAIM #1 IN METRO LEAGUE
With their 29-27 home win against LA Valley, the men claimed the American Metro lead as the only remaining undefeated team in the conference. Freshman Caleb Arreola led the Panther offense with 225 yards passing, 9 rushing, and 1 TD. Javian Lofton-Wilson led with 5 receptions for 112 yards and 1 TD. Kicker Nick Lawson had another perfect game, kicking 5:5 field goals and 2:2 extra points - accounting for an impressive 17 points for the Panthers. Defensively, Andrew Rodriguez was again atop the leader board with 10 tackles including 7 solos. The men are on the road the next two weeks, first at Santa Ana and then to LA Southwest. They will return to Grigsby to play their final regular season home game November 3rd v West LA.
