Panther Football played their final game of the 2021 season Saturday night at Riverside City College. The Panthers, who have struggled the entire season, fell to the conference championship Tiger squad 49-3.
Trailing 28-0 deep into the first half, the Panthers managed to get within field goal range scoring their only 3 points off a Jacob Meneses 41-yard kick. RCC went on to score an additional 14 before the halftime break.
The team was plagued by interceptions and sacks from the impressive Riverside defensive squad.
The freshman heavy Panthers complete the 2021 season 0-10 and look to strengthen the team when they return to the field in fall 2022.
