Despite a strong 3rd quarter that saw two Panther touchdowns, Chaffey could not seem to overcome and early Cerritos lead coupled with a strong 4th quarter push.
At the half, the Panthers trailed Cerritos 13-3 with the sole scoring drive for Chaffey culminating in a 43-yard field goal early in the 1st quarter. After the break, the Panthers came on strong scoring two touchdowns off the Falcons and taking the 3rd quarter score to a point deficit 16-17. In the 4th, the Panthers could not manage to complete while Cerritos pulled off three TDs, a safety, and a field goal.
The Panthers are on the road the next two Saturdays first at Palomar then at Mt SAC and will play their final home game on November 6th vs El Camino.
