Panther Football took the show on the road Saturday to open the National Conference season at Cerritos. The Falcons dominated taking the game 50-14.
The Panthers trailed 34-0 going into the 4th quarter. Never to be counted out, Chaffey's Josiah Barron accomplished a 14-yard reception from Parker Wells to open the quarter in the black. A final Parker Wells run with 1:33 remaining gave the Panthers' their 2nd goal.
Wells made his QB debut at Cerritos with 75 yards passing, 19 yards rushing, and one touchdown. Rjay Tagataese added 49 yards passing. Barron's touchdown accompanied four receptions, 48 yards.
Jamarius Isaac led the Panther defense with seven solo tackles and one assist.
The men host Palomar College Saturday night for the college's annual tailgate party.
