Congratulations to Panther Football's Jayson Cortes on being named SCFA Offensive Player of the Week.

Offensive: Jayson Cortes, Chaffey (RB, 5-9, 210, Fr., Corona, CA/Centennial HS)
Cortes ran for a state-high 240 yards on 31 carries. He averaged 7.7 yards per carry and had a long run of 55 tards. Cortes scored 4 touchdowns on runs of 6, 6, 37, and 2 yards to help lead Chaffey to a 57-24 win at Santa Monica.
