The Panthers won their 17th consecutive game tonight (their 23rd this season) 82-59 vs Victor Valley. The men complete the IEAC season undefeated 16-0, 23-5 overall.
Against am agressive Rams team, sophomores Darren Williams and Manu (Kehasson) Oulai put up 16 points each with Williams landing two 3s. Nikola Ivkovik and Donyae Molett had 13 each. Niko led the Panthers from the 3-point line with three completed shots.
In the the first minutes of the game, the teams volleyed back-and-forth but then Panthers came on strong to forge a lead that they never gave up. At the half, Chaffey led 33-19. The Panthers went on to score 49 points in the second half of play.
The IEAC championship team will begin state playoffs next week. Playoff information will be posted Tuesday.
