Racking up their 22nd win this season (15th consecutive), the Chaffey men defeated College of the Desert tonight 87-55. Leading at the half 39-30, the Panthers took the lead 9:51 into the first half and never let up leading by as many as 36 points in the final period.
Manu Oulai and Darren Williams combined for more than half of Chaffey's points. Oulai (state rebounding leader) had the game's only double-double with 17 rebounds. Williams's 22 points included four 3s. Nikola Ivkovic also landed four for 12:13 points scored for the freshman.
The IEAC championship team will play their final regular season home game Friday against Victor Valley.
