The Panthers claimed their 8th season win tonight, defeating the Victor Valley Rams 79-56 to open the 2022-23 IEAC season.
In a game that opened with a three, the Panthers hit 15 amazing long court shots including four each by Miguel Robles and Michael Henry. The teams quickly racked up the numbers and went into the break Chaffey up by 12. Intensity on both sides continued until the final horn.
Three Panthers were in double digits with Robles leading the charge with 22. Henry added 16 and Caike Godoy 15. Brody Davis had a stellar dunk that had Panther fans on their feet screaming.
The men are on the road until mid-January when they return to the Sports Center on January 11th to take on College of the Desert. In the meantime, they will travel to Palo Verde, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino Valley and Copper Mountain.
