The Panther men traveled to Santa Barbara over winter break defeating the Vaqueros 76-71.
Leading the charge was Miguel Robles with 17 points and nine rebounds. Jozelle Carter had 13 points and newcomer Shaden Knight had 12 in his collegiate debut.
Chaffey came back from a seven point deficit at the half to dominate the 2nd period, outscoring SBCC 47-35.
The men start off 2023 with two road games - first at San Bernardino and then at Copper Mountain.
