The men were on fire last night as they took on Rio Hondo in a 130 point stunning win. With a 23 point lead at the half, Chaffey's offense could not be stopped and by the end the lead had grown to a jaw dropping 41 points with Chaffey taking the game 130-89.
Chaffey's Mourad Toure came out of nowhere, usually scoring in single digits, to dominate the game scoring 23 points with 100% accuracy. He was 5:5 iin 3-pointers for the night.
In all, six players were in double digits with every player scoring.
With conference competition beginning in less than a month, this year's Chaffey squad (unranked in the preseason) has quickly shown that they are not to be dismissed and could make a run for a conference title and beyond.
The men play at home Tuesday the 29th against Glendale.
