The Panther men took an early lead against Palo Verde and never released their hold - up by double digits for most of the game.
In the 98-81 IEAC opener, the Panthers were led by Brody Davis with 18 points and Marcus Green with 17. The combo had the crowd on their feet with an assist by Green gave Davis a perfect hanging slam dunk opportunity. Caike Godoy, Shaden Knight, and Nate Simon were all in double digits in the 17-point win.
The team will play two more games this year - Wednesday at Victor Valley (conference) and the 29th at Santa Barbara (non-conference) and will return to the Sports Center in the new year on the 3rd to take on longtime rival San Bernardino Valley at 7pm.
