The Panther men commanded both the offense and defense tonight vs Barstow on their way to a 6th consecutive conference win, 140-69.
The first half of play showcased the shooting talent of the Chaffey squad with the teams heading into the locker rooms divided by 20.
If the first period wasn't enough to capture fans, the second had them on their feet as the squad took ball after ball from the Vikings for a total of 26 steals and 36 defensive rebounds. Nate Simon led the charge with eight steals but it was Marcus Green's 25 points (77% accuracy) that had them cheering dunk after dunk after dunk. In all, seven players were in double digits in the historic win: Shadale Knight, Elijah Goad, marcus Green, Brody Davis, Jacob Barcelo, Caike Godoy, and Mourad Toure.
The team will take on Mt San Jacinto Saturday at 3pm. The first place Panthers are the only undefeated IEAC team. The Eagles are currently 4-1 and sitting in 3rd place.
