With five players in double digits today, the Chaffey Panthers continue to dominate the Inland Empire Athletic Conference race with a title in sight. Over thirty points would ultimately separate the Panthers from the visiting Copper Mountain Cacti in the 104-72 IEAC win.
Leading the Panther offense was Nate Simon with 18 points and Uriyah Rojas with 17. Brody Davis, Marcus Green and Jacob Barcelo were all above 12 points. In all, eleven Panthers contributed to the win.
Chaffey has four games remaining on the regular season including games against frontrunners Mt San Jacinto and Cerro Coso. Cerro Coso gave the Panthers their only conference loss this season, a one-point stunner in January. Since then, Chaffey has won their last four games and has only gained speed, strength, confidence, and competitiveness. The last few games leading into the post-season promise to be some of the best of the 23-24 schedule.
