It looked like the Panthers and Pasadena Lancers were going to hold each other scoreless Friday until Chaffey's Gustavo Chavez knocked one in to close out the first period of play. Both teams battled for control of the ball throughout the first period and PCC finally landed their sole goal of the game 1 minute after the break. The men return to play Friday at East LA.
