PANTHERS DEFEAT VICTOR VALLEY IN 3-0 SHUTOUT

The men hosted Victor Valley yesterday afternoon defeating the Rams 3-0 in IEAC play.  Miguel Correa led the Panthers with two goals, one in each period of play.  Damien Maldonado knocked in a clean shot deep into the 2nd half, 3 minutes after Correa's second point.  Maldonado also earned an assist, Ivan Diaz had two.  Rylan Opatkiewicz was at the net with three saves.

"The 3-0 victory against VVC closed out the first round of conference play though it was not as easy of a victory as the score suggests.  Victor Valley played hard for the 90 minutes.  This conference is tough; everyone's beating everyone!  There are four teams that could realistically win the IEAC title and it's going to be a war heading into the final two weeks,
