MEN TIE NORCO 1-1 - SOPHOMORE GAME THIS FRIDAY

Norco took a first period lead yesterday taking the Panthers into the break down 1-0.  Halfway through the 2nd period, Ivan Diaz scored off a penalty kick to tie the game 1-1.

From Head Coach Cooper: The 1-1 result at Norco wasn't really an indication of how well we played for a majority of the contest. We made a bad mistake early that cost us a goal and were left chasing the game for nearly 75 minutes. Chance after chance, we couldn't break through until the 66th minute when we earned an obvious penalty kick. We continued to attack, but shot after shot were turned away. We'll take the point, but the game should've been ours. Now, we have a good SBVC team coming to town on Friday, a big game for the still up-for-grabs conference championship. 

Chaffey plays their final regular season home game Friday, hosting San Bernardino Valley at 3pm.  The men will play their final regular season game at Victor Valley Friday the 15th.
