The Panthers delivered Head Coach Chris Araya his first collegiate win Friday with a 2-0 shutout victory at Citrus College.
Chaffey scored both goals in the 2nd half of play - first by Luis Casillas assisted by Erick Nuno then a game closing shot by Andres Ponce and Jeremiah Duan.
Araya took over from Ben Cooper who he had both played for an assisted during Cooper's 15 season at Chaffey. Araya played for the Panthers in 2006 and 2007 and returned to the bench to coach in 2012.
