The Panther men showed why they can't be counted out for the top spot in the Inland Empire after yesterday's 5-1 home win vs Victor Valley.
With two in the first half (Kiarash Eftekhari and Miguel Gonzalez Palomares) and three in the 2nd (Miguel Gonzalez Palomares x2 and Kaleb Duran) the Panthers dominated the complete game.
Rafael Lopez-Sanchez returned to the net for the Panthers after a four game absence to secure three saves and hold the Rams scoreless after 90 minutes of play.
The Panthers biggest test will come Friday against Norco as the teams battle to determine the conference champion. The last time the teams faced off (10/18) it was a null tie. A win for Chaffey should give them the edge they need for a title as the conference season winds down. Friday's game will be played at Norco at 3pm.
