Men's Soccer Enters Playoffs with First-Round Matchup Against L.A. Mission College
The Chaffey College men's soccer team is gearing up for their first-round matchup in the 3C2A Men's SoCal Regional Playoffs.
The Chaffey College men's soccer team is gearing up for their first-round matchup in the 3C2A Men's SoCal Regional Playoffs. The Panthers (7-8-5), seeded #21, will travel to Sylmar, California to face the #12 seed L.A. Mission College Eagles on Wednesday, November 20. With a victory, the Panthers would advance to face the #5 seed Norco College (14-2-5) on Saturday, November 23.

The Panthers' offense will be led by the freshman trio of David Navarro, Omar Abdou, and Diego Garcia. Navarro leads the team with 6 goals and 2 assists (14 points). Abdou, a playmaker has 4 goals and 3 assists (11 points). Garcia has 1 goal and 1 assist (3 points). They will also look to defender Alberto Romero who has 3 goals and 1 assists (7 points).
Chaffey has averaged 1.55 goals per game this season, finding the back of the net 31 times in 20 games.
The Eagles (10-6-3) finished the regular season strong, placing third in the Western State Conference (North Division) with a 6-3-1 conference record. After back-to-back losses in late October, they rebounded to win four of their last five games.
