The Panther men were 1-1 at the Citrus Tournament last weekend, defeating Crafton Hills 9-7 before falling to the host Fighting Owls later that day.
Against Crafton, the Panthers scored consistently throughout the match and were led by Parker Black and Tyler Pesantes who accounted for seven of the nine Chaffey points.Dylan Trout and Tyler Jensen each scored one.
Elijah Bell got the win with nine saves.
The Chaffey squad has struggled with injuries this season forcing several forfeits and cancelations. The team will participate in the two-day Dia del los Muertos Tournament at Southwestern this weekend and then will take on the IEAC Championship Tournament next weekend to close out the season.
